Experimenting with my favorite piece of ukiyo-e and AI generating

I recently came across the work of MrUgleh's on ai-art twitter (yea still refusing to call it the letter) ⃪⃪ Basically he started a trend of inputting geometric patterns as organic parts of the image, first triggered by this pair:

Japanese Ukiyo-e is my favorite to play with because of its delicate nature

While searching for free AI tools, I found out on reddit about playgroundai. Its Figma-inspired layout and image-editing key patterns made it quick to get around.

First I started generating new waves, then remembered the trend sparkled by our dearest MrUgleh and decided to go and try to write my name in the waves.

Some intermediary generations somehow ended up expressionist mustard waves. Nothing Hokusai about it. Changed the prompt back to a Kanagawa Wave clone and wrote my name using the pencil tool, trying to tell it to get closer.

My free trials for today are now done and here's my timeline so far:

I'm still off my goal to write my name in the manner I'm looking forward to, but will be keeping y'all updated.
